I went to James from Hawaii in
early 2005 for my first beard clearance. I chose James at the time
over E-2000/E-3000 and cancelled my appointments with them because
he was able to show me pictures of his work and put me in touch with
happy finished clients. I was in a hurry to get through the first
clearance and hoped I could dream of easy maintenance and fast completion.
(Yes, I flew from Hawaii to Buffalo New York on a regular schedule)
I have subsequenly had 5 full clearances with him at the proper intervals.
95% of all the hair has been permanently removed, and I saved a lot
of money over what I would have paid in Texas.
When I made my decision to see James, it was important to me that he was using
the latest technology. I have been to other electrologists and i am very pleased
that he used the microflash thermolysis to achieve the first 5 full clearances.
I feel that this technique assisted him in both speed of removal as well as minimalizing
any damage to the skin surrounding the folicle. I have no visable damage to the
skin after 5 intense periods of treatment.
I flew in and stayed for a week. In that time we cleared the whole face and most
of the neck in between sight seeing excursions. My hair growth was severe. I
was told it was in the 450 to 500 hairs per square inch category. James achieved
the clearance in about 6–7 hours a day and with only advil for pain. No injections
were needed as the pain from the treatment was annoying but not severe. My upper
lip at the lip line was the exception, but most people don't have hair “in
the paint”.
I did a package: five Clearances and 95% reduction, what a bargain! Now,
I am using a local elecrologist for a few stays once in a while because it does
not make sense to fly across the county for what I now clear locally in 2 hours
work using blend. James is excellent and I am very lucky that I was willing
to take a chance. It proved the best investment I could have ever made.

The best thing that I’ve done for myself was going to Executive
Clearance, owned and operated by James W. Walker VII, CPE. From
the initial appointment until now, I've received nothing
less than first rate service.
James’ professional assessment, trial treatment and complete
program are the best I’ve seen so far. As long as you follow
his instructions, suggestions, and don’t miss scheduled appointments,
your satisfaction is almost assured.
His rate of hair removal is impressive, the skill he has shows
up with clear smooth skin. Pitting and scarring are nonexistent.
I’ve been to other supposed Hair Removal Specialists and
they can’t compare to James and his Executive Clearance.
Do yourself a favor and begin your permanent hair removal experience
the right way – with James and get your Executive Clearance.
I did and my skin has never looked so good.

James Walker did a marathon treatment on me of just shy of 13
hours, basically spread over two days. Well, less than 24 hours,
as eleven and a half of those hours were on the same day.
That was the first full clearance of my beard - 10,000 hairs removed
in under 13 hours. No anesthetic needed. Aside from a few small
areas (such as right under the nose), it was pretty much painless.
Uncomfortable, mind you... but that has more to do with just sitting
around on the treatment table for long periods of time - something
that wouldn't exactly be helped by lidocaine injections.
James keeps you distracted with the DVD player he's got hooked
up to monitors mounted in multiple locations (so you can see regardless
of how he's got you oriented on the table). And taking short breaks
every hour or two is pretty important. But speaking as the victim...
er, I mean "client", it was all fairly pleasant. I was
on a plane home the next day, and within 24 hours of the treatment,
the swelling had subsided. Not a single scab or mark on my face.
In comparison to how easy it was as the "client", I
figure marathon sessions have to be pretty tiring for the electrologist!
Which is no doubt one of the big reasons why you don't see more
of them offering that sort of treatment.
I tried a few electrologists before I started seeing James, and
treatment with all of them did hurt. A LOT. Now admittedly, I have
a very low pain threshold, but still... even using emla and the
like, and even with the sessions being very short, I was less than
enthusiastic about the prospect of them doing that to my whole
beard. Yowch! I couldn't imagine sitting through two hours of that,
much less 13.
There is an absolutely massive difference between electrologists,
even those purportedly with a lot of experience. Not one of the
electrologists I tried had less than a decade of experience. If
I had based my impression of electrolysis solely on my experience
with them, I would've been begging for injections.

To those interested in hair removal:
I was referred to James from a friend when I considered facial
hair removal
and I am grateful for this person for doing so, because over the
past two
years James and myself have developed a good professional relationship.
At first I was concerned about hair removal that it might be painful
but
James did an excellent job telling me all about electrology showing
me
diagrams and pictures and giving me an in depth overview of what
electrology was all about. We then did a little trial run and to
my surprise
the pain was minimal and bearable and he allayed all my concerns.
I could tell as he worked that not only did he know what he was
doing but he went about his work in a manner that clearly showed
me he was an expert. He takes his time and does an excellent job.
Since we started to work together I have been very pleased not
only with the results of his work but his overall character. he
is even fun to work with, he has a great sense of humor and is
enjoyable to work with. I would highly recommend him to anyone
interested in hair removal. I don't think you will find anyone
more qualified or anyone better to work with. He gives you a sense
of security with his humor and he enjoys working with people.
In my opinion, he is the best in the business.
Sincerely,
Dana M. Grant |

For those asking for someone to prove that electrolysis really
works, here I am! I underwent electrolysis for about two
years, and almost 300 hours and I am done and EXTREMELY happy with
my results. The work covered the full face and neck going
back into the hairline and down into the chest. Most of my
treatments were nearly painless, except for the upper lip (under
the center of the nose) and my chin, on the jawbone. I slept
through a lot of my sessions. I have no pock marks and my
skin is smooth. Electrolysis works and can be essentially
painless if it is done right.
I will have to say that I got very
lucky when I found James Walker. I had been going to another electrolygist
in the area for a year before I found him and I could only take
an hour a week and the sessions were very painful and I left her
house red, sore, swollen and with ice on my face. After a year
with her , I had gotten no where. A year lost. The first time I
went to see James, I went for three hours and I left feeling the
same way I had walked in to see him. I'm
not saying all the sessions were painless, because some were, but none as bad
as what I had been doing.
I have photos of my progress on my site if you care to look. http://www.geocities.com/tinamarie022/Hair.html I
am almost done now and I didn't think I would ever get here, but
I did and I am a happpy girl. Good luck to you.
